Overview

Shopify is a commerce platform for building online stores and managing checkout, products, and orders. Kanalio is integrated with Shopify through a storefront bridge, a Shopify Custom Pixel, and a signed order webhook.

How to connect Shopify

Ask Kanalio for the tracking values and Shopify snippets assigned to your account.
Add the supplied storefront bridge before the closing body tag in your Shopify theme.
In Settings > Customer events, create a custom pixel and add the Kanalio pixel configuration.
In Settings > Notifications > Webhooks, create the supported order webhook and provide its signing secret securely to Kanalio.
Complete a test visit and order so the browser and order rails can be checked together.

Scope of the connection

The setup can capture supported storefront activity and order events. The exact events available depend on the Shopify configuration and the Kanalio connection enabled for the store.
